How Can You Prevent Hearing Loss?
Hearing loss happens with age, but actively avoiding or reducing exposure to loud sounds will help to reduce hearing loss. When listening to sounds from headphones, be sure to keep the volume low or use speakers. Also try to limit how much you listen, as continued exposure to loud sounds will also damage your ears. Noises over 80dB have been proven to be able to damage your ears and that amount of pressure can be created from things such as lawnmowers or chainsaws. Wearing earplugs will help to reduce that pressure but will not always fully block it.
-Cannot be prevented
-Limit sound use and keep volume low
-Use earplugs where noise cannot be controlled
